The Sony VAIO Tab 20 is one of the more interesting computer products to come out lately. What makes it so intriguing is that it puts a new spin to what we’re used to seeing in the desktop computing space. While technically the VAIO Tab is a desktop computer, built with an All-in-One form factor, the system can actually become a mobile device. This is possible with a built-in battery that is found in the unit. The convenience of touch display computing also helps.

But this isn’t a computer for creative professionals or hard-core gamers. It doesn’t have the highest resolution display, and lacks some features like an optical drive for DVDs. Battery life could also be better. That said, the Sony Vaio Tap 20 makes for a great family computer. It’s fun, versatile and can handle everyday tasks with no problem. It starts at $880, which is over $400 less than the least expensive new iMac all-in-one from Apple.
