EB Series VPCEB290X CTO
Vaio VPCEB290X CTO is the model number to a Sony EB Series notebook. This is a configure-to-order (CTO) system. Shoppers can customize a Vaio EB Series system with select hardware upgrade options. There are five color options available for selection.
Vaio EB Series laptops all come with a 15.5” LED backlit LCD display.
Shoppers can configure the VPCEB290X CTO with either an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor. These are entry-level and mid-level performance solutions.
Model VPCEB290X CTO can support high-definition graphics. Graphic solutions include one from Intel and another from ATI. For more intensive graphic applications, such as for gaming, upgrade to the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 GPU.
A standard CD/DVD drive is available on this system. For more premium options, consumers can upgrade to either a Blu-ray Disc player or a Blu-ray Disc player/burner.
Sony VPCEB290X CTO features Intel’s Wireless Display (WiDi) technology. This allows users to connect this laptop to a TV without using any wires. Software inside the VPCEB290X CTO will find a TV and stream images and displays to it.
