The ThinkPad T400s are business class notebooks.  They’re similar to the ThinkPad T400 models except for a several key differences.  Those are found in the display type, battery and graphics.

The ThinkPad T400s uses better display technology, incorporating an LED backlit display rather than the standard CCFL backlit.  This helps save energy while making the images brighter and the colors more vibrant.

The T400s also comes with a 6 cell Li-Ion battery which allows for more battery life when compared to the 4 cell one used in the T400 models.

All ThinkPad T400s models come with integrated graphics.  There is no option for discrete graphics as there is with T400 models.
